The J Factor

Welcome!

Hey everyone, I'm Eleni, creator of this genius site. Well, The J Factor is me and my best buddy Sarah's site where we can just, well, go crazy and stuff like that. We're both Freshman (soon to be Sophomores) at St. Francis High School in Sacramento, California. We initially bonded at the beginning of this year (although we went to the same middle school together, but never even knew who each other were) over our mutual love of Sean Biggerstaff and an obscure Scottish band by the name of Crambo. So, we have developed into partners in crime and crazy Goo Goo Dolls and Bon Jovi fans together. One day while sitting chatting at 9am at school, we decided, heck, why not start a website for us and our buddies and everyone else out there. And The J Factor was born. So knock yourself out here. I just created this today, so It's sucky now but I promise it will get better as soon as I have more time and faster internet!

Okay, so I'm Sarah and I just got on this site as well.  Great job Eleni!  So, yea, I'm the other half of the J Factor team...the brilliant ideas that it is...We shall begin construction on this site to hopefully make it GRRRRREAT and help you with all of your J Factor needs...Today was our last day of school, so Eleni and I will probably have a lot of time this summer to work on the site....seeing as I have no life...LoL.  So check it out...more will be up soon!

Okay, you're probably wondering why this site is called the J Factor (quite the random name, we are quite random people). Well, Sarah and I went to the Bon Jovi concert in Sacramento on April 17, 2003 and it was pretty much the best night of my life (ties with my seeing the Broadway show Rent for the first time in 2002). So, the opening act was the Goo Goo Dolls, and the lead singer, Johnny Rzeznik, a god of gorgeousness, has a name that starts with a J. And guess what? The lead singer of Bon Jovi, the lovely Jon Bon Jovi, has a name that starts with a J, too. So viola--one day at school we came up with this J Factor thing. Oh, and our mascot is my friend Julie's life-size cutout of James Marsters. Whew. It is beautiful.

So yea, I dunno what to say here really.  I think that Eleni's little section above really tells the whole story of the J Factor.  Now I know it's random, but please, bear with us and you too will soon see the beauty that is the J Factor!

What's New?

Here's what's new here at the J Factor!
4/9/03--okay, I just got this site up. I used a pre-made format from Tripod, so there are these totally not us pics and text all over, so ignore it until it I say the site is pretty much done. Oh, and this is a surprise for Sarah, so if you happen to stumble upon it, keep it on the dl (this is for all of y'all who I know in the flesh).
5/6/03--Yea, so I got to see the site!  This is so awesome, Eleni!  So, to all of you out there...this site is a little under construction right now...but trust me, I know HTML and I'm working on some graphics and stuff, so be patient and it'll kick ass!  Keep checking back for updates...  So I have a dance competition tomorrow and dance class on tue and thurs, but that's all I'm doin next week, so I'll have lots of J Factor time.  Keep checking back!:)
7/1/03--Lots of new additions to the Blogish page. Expect a new one of those every couple of days this summer....I've got time! Sarah has no internet so you're stuck with me, Eleni, as your webmissy for a while. Fatigue: the musical will no longer be hosted on this site, click on the Fatigue page for more info. The missing pages on this site will be up as soon as Sarah gets her internet access probs fixed. Until then, keep checking back and sign that darrn guestbook. I'm gonna try to get a message board up so that we can have fun message board stuff like that...and I could possibly move the blogish page there...
7/19/03--Okay, so hello everyone!  I finally got my internet back after nearly 2 months and I've been on for like 5 hours today!  hahaha...well, I got back from Hawaii at about midnight so I'm kinda tired, but I'm gonna try and put up a little Hawaii review thing so keep a look out for it.  Now that I finally have my internet back, I'll try and update some things.  Also, news:: there's a Goo Goo Dolls concert on Sept. 6 at Kinocti (a few hours away) so Eleni and I are trying to figure out a way to get us there.  The really good tickets are only $55 (we were expecting like 100) but we need transportation, so any ideas?  Well, I guess I'll check back with y'all later!  Bye!:)
