Whoopee....and all that jazz! School is almost out, summer is almost here, 3 homework free months are coming up (except if you, like me, are taking summer school. then you get approx. 1.5 homework free months. Or if youre taking honors Chem next year, like me. Then you get 1 month homework free. Wait, I gotta factor in summer reading. That leaves us with 15 homework free days... you know what screw the homework free thang. We still get homework. Just not as much of it.). The only problem: yes, chicas, its FINAL time! Christ on a Cracker save us all. Just remember to study, study, study. And now, without further ado, I present you with

Eleni Crushs List of Stuff You Need to Survive Studying for Finals!

1. A good portable cd player that works. Youre gonna use it a lot.

2. A highlighter. Highlighters are god.

3. A cool, comfy shirt that says something you like on it. Then, if you get bored studying, you can just zone out with the cool thing on your shirt, i.e. a Goo Goo Dolls Concert tank, a big black Rent tee shirt, a Dreamstreet shirt (that was for tina), the cool new Adam Pascal shirt I saw on the internet (its only $15!).

4. Pictures of things you like. They also work as a zoning out tool when you become too stressed. Think cool pics of Clay Aiken at the Nederlander theater (more on that later), Adam Pascal being dead sexay, Kevin Spencer and his canuck gorgeousness, Johnny Reznick, Josh Hartnett, etc.

5. A good pair of dorm shorts or boxers. Im partial to my oversized College of William and Mary shorts, but gym shorts ( cough sutter) work too.

6. Wolfgang Pucks Soup. For refueling.

7. Diet Coke. Cuz in the Eleni Study land, we only drink Diet Coke...coke...coke...

Caffeine definently rocks my socks.

8. CDs you can study with. This year Ive used Rent cds for both Fall and Spring semester, Lord of the Rings soundtrack for fall semester, and American Idol Season 2: All-Time Classic American Love Songs for spring semester.

9. A computer. For those times when inspiration for a scene in FATIGUE strikes you. wait, that might only apply to me. For all of the rest of you, you need paper, pens and all that other stuff. AND 10

10. Good Luck. Youre gonna need it.

Have fun studying for finals and dont forget to sleep. You need that too. Along with a little brother who loves to interrupt you 10 million times when studying. And parents. And fish to feed.

Eye candy and other pictures of the Day:

Clay is not the superhot variety of eye candy. I repeat, Clay Aiken is not the superhot variety of eye canday. Unless youre Claire. But thats another story. No, Clay Aiken is the adorable kind of eye candy. And what makes this pic even more adorable is that he is standing backstage next to the Wall of Fame at, yes, you guessed it, the Nederlander Theater in NYC aka home to RENT for the past 7 years. He and Ruben went to see Frenchie, former AI contestant, whos now SOLoist (SOL=seasons of love, oist=soloist, SOLoist=Seasons of Love soloist) #1, the Bag Lady, and others in RENT. And apparently, this one radio dj in NYC told him he should totally play Mark in the show and he says hes gotten that a lot from a ton of people. So, we could have a Clay as Mark Cohen possibly in the near future. Jeez, it could be the American Idol cast of Rent:

Okay, since the school year is almost over and I know all of you are dying to read more scenes in FATIGUE over the summer, Im in the process of setting up a website for FATIGUE so you can go over there and do whatever you want with the script. It wont be up until later in the month, so Ill do one last printout of the script so far if ive got time before schools out. Im writing the Surfing Scene now, which is going to turn into a takeoff of the song Santa Fe from Rent. Lets open up a restaurant in Santa Fe is now Lets open up a surfing shop in Santa Cruz. well, Sarah spillard informed me of a bad thang that might be occuring. Goo might be breaking up. tear. Its sad to me. Friday, when I found out, as soon as I got home I turned on my computer and blasted out name and other goo hits, but it made me too sad. So I turned on On the Wings of Love by Clay Aiken. Its amazing how those corny American Idol cds can make you feel happy. Hehee. AI is great. So, thats all on the Eleni front. This is prolly the last random note of the year. Ill stick new ones on the Fatigue site over the summer. Good luck on your Finals!
