Chilling with Eleni
The J Factor

Okay, so I know all of you are dying to know more about me, so throw your mittens around your kittens and away we go!

Full Name: Eleni Nicole C. (I'm keeping my last name withheld for safety stuff).
Birthday: August 26, 1988. The year the world was blessed with wonderful muah!
Current Age: 14...but I'm old for my age, I'm just born to be bad! Nah, just kidding, that was a random line from this song called "Light My Candle". I'm actually 14, but that "born to be bad" stuff is total crap/bullshit. Whopee and all that jazz!
Sign: Virgo. Astrology is so fake yet so fun.
Birthplace: Sacramento, CA. Aka good old fashioned cow town. Where everything is ho-dum and normal. Except for NBA basketball. GO KINGS!
Resides in: Sacramento, CA. God, what I'd give to live in someplace cool like NYC. I like Sacramento. I really do. Honestly. It just gets old after awhile.
Current school: St. Francis High School
Physical description: 5'3", brown hair, brown eyes, avg. weight, perpetually tan skin (thank you mediterraneanness), wavy hair. I'll try to upload some pics of myself once I figure out how to get them on this site.
Ethnicity: Greek! ("Toula, there are 2 kind of people--Greeks and everybody else who wishes they was Greek"--My Big Fat Greek Wedding). Irish, Scottish, British (from my white boy daddy's side of the family).

Okay so that 's the boring stuff about me, but here's the actually interesting stuff!
Hobbies: Ok, I'll admit it straight off the bat--I'm a certified drama geek. Yep. But I'm not one of those uber-geeky drama geeks. No, I'm one of those cool, you wanna hang out with them acting kiddies. Plus, I do have other hobbies. Like Greek dance. Yep, there is such a thing. My dance group is the St. Katherine Panigiri dancers. And I like to watch Alias. The most genius tv show ever. I'm a swimmer, shopping fanatic, and I really like jsut sitting around and talking with my friends.
Obsessions: Ok, I am an obsessive person. With many fetishes. Let's start with one of my biggest and longest running obsessions--the Broadway musical Rent. I love Rent. I am a die hard Renthead and have been for fourish or more years. My goal, besides winning an Oscar, is to play Mimi Marquez in Rent. You see, Rent just really grabbed me for some reason the moment I first heard "Seasons of Love". If you've never listened to it, I strongly reccomend it. Even if you don't normally like musicals, Rent is like the anti musical. It's a rock opera (and not stuffy opera, seeing it live is like going to the best rock concert ever that has a plot!) about artists living in the East Village of NYC in 1996. It's about AIDS, art, film, music, going against the mainstream, connection, living life in the moment, performance, homosexuals, being bohemian, and so much more. Hell, if you want to know more (and I know you do) visit www.siteforrent.com. And I finally got to see it live in December 2002 with the Collins Tour at the Mondavi Center in Davis (awesome..Long live them. they closed in DC on May 4, 2003). It was everything I had hoped for and more and one of the most orgasmic experiences of my life. Besides Rent, I love the tv show Alias. Grrr, I hate the summer. Now I have to wait 4 months to find out what the hell the whole Hong-Kong-Vaughn-is-married-and-Syd's-been-gone-for-2-years thing is all about! This show hooked me from day one. It is so good and so addicting. Plus it has Michael Vartan for the girls, and Jennifer Garner for the guys. Honestly, nothing can tear me away from the tv 9pm on Sundays on ABC. Obviously, I love the Goo Goo Dolls and Bon Jovi. They are both spantapulous. OH, and seeing them live togther was ectasy. Pure ectasy. I love Michael Vartan, Josh Hartnett, Orlando Bloom, Sean Biggerstaff (he was Oliver Wood, the Gryffindor Quidditch captain in Harry Potter 1 and 2), Hayden Christensen, Johnny Reznick, and Jon Bon Jovi. I know the last is practically old enough to be my father, but he is still gorgeous. I'm also madly, madly, in love with these 2 actors I'm guessing nobody but myself and my close circle of friends has heard of--Adam Pascal and Kevin Spencer. Adam was the original Roger in Rent. He's currently playing Radames in Aida on Broadway (another role he originated) until June 15ish, I think. He has the most gorgeous voice ever--I love it. It's soulful, rock, and just plain enthralling. If you've never heard him singing on the Rent cd, or just don't like musicals but want to hear him sing (which I highly reccomend), you can hear clips off of his Model Prisoner c.d. at www.adampascal.net. Kevin played Roger in the Collins tour of Rent (he was my first Roger...the Collins Tour was the most recent tour, so if you saw Rent on tour sometime in September 2001- May 2003, then that is the cast you saw), rocked the plaid pants (Roger has to wear these skintight plaid pants in Act I of the show), is another sexy beast, and now plays with his band Mezzanine (check 'em out at www.mezzaninemusic.com) since the tour closed on May 4, 2003 in Washington, DC. I also have a freakish obsession with Sourpatch Kids, which are easily the candy of the Gods, and Wintergreen Lifesavers. I'm like addicted to Wintergreeen Lifesavers to the point where I need rehab. I used to buy multiple packs a day, but now I stopped cuz I have no money.

Goals in Life: Yes, people, this may come as a shock to you, but I actually do have goals.
1. To win an Oscar or a Tony (enough said.)
2. To become a working actress (ok, I honestly don't care if I've got to wait tables to support myself and my art. Acting is really the only thing that's ever truly interested me.)
3. Graduate from college (this is in honor of my parental units. But no, I really do wanna graduate from College)
4. Play Mimi, or anyone else, in Rent. (It's my fav show. I would kill to be in it. It is a dream that most likely is never going to come true. Kinda like that one I have about getting into NYU)
5. Live my life to the fullest and be known not for my obsessions and freakyness, but as a good character.

Okay, so that's me in a nutshell. Whopee and all that jazz!

Okay, so I like to have little quotes of the  day, month, year, whatever. I'm a quotish person. So, yeah.
Broadway quote of the Day:"In life one has to face a huge assortment of nauseating fads and good advice. There's health and fitness, diet and deportment, and other pointless forms of sacrifice. Converstation, wit--I am a doubter. Manners, charm--they're no way to impress. So forget the inner me, observe the outer. I am what I wear, and how I dress"-- "My Strongest Suit", Aida (definently love this song)
Other Quotes: "Screw Studying"--Myself. Gotta lurve my anti-school attitude. Actually, I work my ass off at school. I get a 4.167. I'm a smart one. But people who just constantly study just flat-out bug me. Honestly, don't you know how to have a little fun?
"I guess good things come in small packages"--Jon Bon Jovi on the size of the (sold out) Bon Jovi concert in Sacramento.
